With the help of Heart Health Check up you will find out everything about your cardiac health. Measurements indicating the presence of cardiac risk factors and showing cardiac dysfunction are – increased cholesterol and blood sugar levels, elevated blood pressure and many other parameters indicating structural and functional cardiac health problems.

Patients without any complaints about their cardiac health who are under 40 years of age should complete the Heart Health Check up program once in every three years. Reaching the age of 40 it is recommended to do it every year – after the age of 40 cardiac health tends to deteriorate more rapidly.

Step by Step

1.       In the morning, on an empty stomach blood and urine samples can be collected. In the same morning vital and anthropometric indicators can be taken, electrocardiogram can be recorded and Echocardiography can be done.

2.       Cardiac Stress Test. There are two main preconditions before doing this test:

• The patient must eat no less than 1,5 h before the examination;
• The patient has to have the results of all the laboratory tests that were done during the 1st visit. Cardiologist will assess the vital parameters, results of the lab tests, ECG and Echocardiography and tell whether the patient may do the cardiac stress test.

3.      Cardiologist consultation at the end of the program. It can also be done right after the cardiac stress test if the patient has applied in advance. The doctor will explain the results found in all of the tests and examinations.

Recommendations and advice about health promotion possibilities will be given. If any pathology will be found – a diagnosis will be made. It will also be possible to continue the corporation with the doctor and ask for a treatment plan. Also, at this point – additional examinations could be done to specify the diagnosis if needed.
