Health Check up for Women


The program is made specifically for women to evaluate their key health factors. This program includes detailed evaluation of:

  • Vital and Anthropometrical Parameters – heart rate, blood pressure, height, weight, BMI
  • Laboratory Tests – blood, urine, stool
  • Cardiac Health;
  • Respiratory Health;
  • Inner Organ Condition;
  • Gynecological and Reproductive Health.
Health Check up for Women. Program and Schedule

The program is made by our client manager according to your wishes. First our client manager will contact you to arrange the possible schedule for laboratory tests and examinations.

It is possible complete the whole program in 2 or 3 days – arriving to the clinic only for the examination time.

It is also possible to complete the program in a shorter period of time – only then you have to apply for the program in advance.

The program can be changed according to your wishes by adding or removing an activity from the standard program.

Step by Step
  • The first visit. First you have to sign up to one of our clinics’ experienced internists. This doctor will be the coordinator of your Health Check up program. During the first visit a special health check protocol will be filled out according to your age and sex. Then after an extensive conversation with your doctor a plan of consultations and examinations will be made.

The clinic employs the best specialists in Latvia – doctors – authorities in their fields of practice. All our doctors speak fluent English but there is a possibility to request a translator if needed.

  • Laboratory tests, examinations and doctor’s consultations. Blood tests and cardiogram will be made for all the patients. Women will visit a Gynecologist. Other specialists will be assigned by the coordinating doctor if needed.

All the medical procedures in the clinic are done in accordance to the highest European Union medical quality standards.

  • The final visit. When all the laboratory tests and examinations will be done you will visit your coordinating doctor one more time. In this visit your coordinating doctor will explain you the results of all the analyses, laboratory tests, examinations made and recommendations given by other doctors. You will receive advice from your coordinating doctor about ways of improving your health, diet and physical activities. There will be recommendations given about the treatment and rehabilitation possibilities in case a disease is diagnosed.

After completing the program you will receive a comprehensive medical report in English stating all the results, diagnoses and recommendations.

If there are no major health problems found – Health Check up for Women costs about 615 EUR.

 Spirometry test and explanation of the results Evaluation of pulmonary and respiratory organ function. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and other diseases can be diagnosed. It is highly recommended for smokers.

 Head and neck vascular Doppler Ultrasound Scan Doppler ultrasound scan is recommended for patients who suffer from headaches, dizziness, high blood pressure, spinal spondylosis, cholesterol metabolic disorders, have had cerebral strokes or head and neck injuries.

 Doper Ultrasound Scan for leg veins The examination shows the quality of blood flow in limb’s arterial and venous blood vessels. Venous vascular pathologies are very common – legs with varicose vein extensions as well as deep vein damage can be detected by using this method.

 Rectoscopy/Colonoscopy* Examination for finding malformations in rectum/sigma and colon.

 Dermatoscopy Oncological assessment of skin formations and elements.

 Medical Health Check-up coordinating doctor’s additional consultation This consultation is needed if any additional tests or examinations are needed to clarify the diagnosis or a treatment plan has to be made.

 CT (Computed tomography) A medical imaging technique used in radiology to visualize detailed internal structures. Better for bone tissue visualisation.

 MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging) A medical imaging technique used in radiology to visualize detailed internal structures. Better for soft tissue visualisation.

Results of the Program

After completing the program you will receive a full medical report of your health status, results of all the tests and analyses made and expert conclusions given.

The report can be received at the clinic, by post or by e-mail in Latvian, Russian or English languages.

All of this will also be discussed with your coordinating doctor during the final consultation. If any abnormalities will be found – a diagnosis will be made. Then you can choose to continue the cooperation with your coordinating doctor and have a treatment plan made just for you.
